Manager Fabio Paratici is pushing Daniel Levy to appoint at Tottenham has green-lighted Saudi move now
Daniel Levy has a big decision on his hands about whether to stick with Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou this summer or let him go.
With the Australian winning the Europa League, he has etched himself into Tottenham’s history books and will eternally be considered as a hero by Spurs fans.
However, the Lilywhites finished in 17th place in the Premier League, which would prompt Ange Postecoglou would admit that largely, they endured a disappointing campaign.
Postecoglou would like more time at Tottenham off the back of winning the Europa League to lead them to bigger and better things next season.
Tottenham’s dressing room is split about Ange Postecoglou as some believe he is the right man for the job, others are unconvinced and the majority of the squad remain undecided.

Tottenham manager target Simone Inzaghi eyeing Al-Hilal job
One manager who has heavily been linked with the Tottenham job is Inter Milan tactician Simone Inzaghi.
Fabio Paratici suggested Daniel Levy to appoint Inzaghi — who has impressed once again this campaign by masterminding Inter to their Champions League final in three seasons.
However, the concerning development around the Italian’s future was provided by journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who revealed that he is “strongly considering” the prospect of managing Al-Hilal.
So much so that Simone Inzaghi, who Thierry Henry called a “genius” has green-lighted a move to the Saudi Pro League club.
However, Inzaghi is yet to sign a contract to become Al-Hilal’s manager and there still remain some “minor details” to be finalised that he will look to do so after Inter Milan’s Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Lazio boss would earn $25 million (£18.5 million) per year, making him one of the highest-paid managers in the world.
Recently, Simone Inzaghi’s family visited Riyadh to have a look at the club, the houses and schools alongside Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s family as well.
People at Tottenham have spotted the “ideal” Ange Postecoglou replacement
With Inzaghi looking likely to make a move to Al-Hilal, Tottenham will have to act quickly to bring in a replacement for Ange Postecoglou if they do decide to part ways with him.
Spurs’ pre-season tour in Hong Kong and South Korea begins next month and any new manager will require as much time as possible to bed in his ideas ahead of next season.
The potentially good news is that Tottenham insiders love Thomas Frank and believe the Brentford boss is the “ideal” replacement for Ange Postecoglou, with the Dane being a part of their seven-man shortlist of managerial targets.
- Thomas Frank
- Mauricio Pochettino
- Roberto De Zerbi
- Oliver Glasner
- Marco Silva
- Kieran McKenna
- Andoni Iraola
Marco Silva confirmed he will stay at Fulham but in Frank’s case, even the Bees are privately concerned about Spurs’ interest in their manager.
Thomas Frank, much like Simone Inzaghi is incredibly tactically flexible and Tottenham have shown in the past that they are unafraid to take a punt on up-and-coming managers like Andre Villas-Boas, Mauricio Pochettino and Ange Postecoglou.
However, it seems like Thomas Frank could stay at Brentford next season.
