John Verrall
John Verrall is the Deputy Head of Global Sport at GRV Media. A sports journalism graduate from Staffordshire University, John has more than a decade of experience in digital sports publishing and has been with the company for more than eight years. Quickly rising through the ranks, he now manages multiple news publications across the network covering football, golf, tennis, Formula One and more. Before joining GRV Media, John worked for well-known brands including UEFA, The Guardian, World Soccer and Shoot Magazine.
Billy Meyers
As a professional football journalist, Billy Meyers has worked at GRV Media since 2020. His expertise lies in English football, particularly across the Premier League and EFL. Billy has previously written for publications such as 90min and Football FanCast and boasts experience conducting interviews with a number of leading figures in the game, including England's former striker coach Allan Russell. He has also worked closely with YouTube star Spencer Owen when creating written content for Hashtag United.
Charles Jones
Charles Jones has been with GRV Media since November 2020, boasting expertise in all things English football and darts. He contributes to multiple sports news websites across the GRV Media network. He has more than five years of experience in the digital publishing industry and graduated with a first-class honours degree in Sports Journalism from Leeds Trinity University in 2019. Before joining GRV Media, Charles previously worked for reputable publishers such as GOAL and 90min.
Giuseppe Labellarte
Giuseppe Labellarte is a journalist with over a decade of professional experience in the industry. Giuseppe's main professional expertise is in football, which he puts to use on a variety of sites within GRV Media's network. Giuseppe holds a degree in Journalism from Nottingham Trent University.
Graeme Bailey
Graeme has worked as journalist for nearly 25 years and that has been almost entirely online and related to football transfers. He holds a degree in Journalism and Politics from the University of Leeds. After completing his studies, Graeme spent the majority of his career at Sky Sports, before taking on the role of Transfer Correspondent at 90min. He now brings his extensive expertise to GRV Media.
Lucas Arnold
After graduating from Brunel University with a Journalism degree, Lucas Arnold spent several years working as a football analyst. Working closely with data, Lucas became an expert in both Icelandic and Norwegian football, fueling several scouting trips. He has also worked as a freelance journalist since 2015, following every moment in the Premier League. Alongside his football obsession, Lucas also loves watching the UFC and F1.

Luke Randall
Luke is an experienced football journalist with a wealth of experience covering news, exclusives, and opinion content within the sports media sector for over six years. Since starting as an intern in 2017, Luke has refined his expertise to become a respected Premier League and Championship football journalist. Before joining GRV, Luke worked at Snack Media, where he contributed to publications like Football FanCast, The Transfer Tavern and This Is Futbol.
Adam Williams
Adam Williams is Head of Football Finance and Governance Content for GRV Media, focusing on the behind-the-scenes dimensions of the sport. He spent several years in his previous role with Breaking Media attempting to demystify the occasionally bewildering world of football finance. Adam is an expert in his field and provides in-depth coverage of key areas impacting clubs across the Premier League and EFL including Financial Fair Play, TV deals and agent fees.
Amir Mir
Amir Mir has worked for various media outlets across the country including the Birmingham Mail and the Independent, and is currently plying his trade across multiple sites for GRV. As a football journalist, Amir provides the latest transfer news as well as pre-game and post-game reaction across the Premier League. After graduating from Staffordshire University, where he learned the nuts and bolts of sports journalism, Amir has taken huge strides since covering his first U21 football game between Port Vale and Walsall.
Brendan McGilligan is an NCTJ qualified sports journalist. Brendan has three years of online publishing experiencing reporting for Derry News and County Derry Post. His bylines have also appeared in Planet Rugby, The Rugby Paper, Manchester Evening News and Liverpool Echo. Brendan has particular expertise in rugby union and football.
Dan Owen
Dan Owen began his professional career with GRV Media in 2016 after graduating from Leeds Trinity University. As an NCTJ-accredited journalist, Dan specialises in publishing transfer reports and sourcing transfer rumours from the foreign press. An avid viewer of the Premier League, Dan also takes a keen interest in football across Europe including La Liga, Serie A and the Scottish Premiership.
Dylan Walsh
A 2018 sport journalism graduate from the University of Brighton, Dylan Walsh is a Premier League, EFL and UEFA accredited reporter. With over five years of experience covering live football from the view of the press box, covering the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and the England national team at Wembley Stadium. Dylan Walsh has over nine years of writing experience in the sports industry and works across multiple sites as a sports journalist for GRV Media. Dylan is a big fan of Premier League football, Major League Soccer and cheesecake.
Jamie Brown
Jamie is a football journalist who has been actively covering the game since 2019. A Sports Journalism graduate at the University of East London, he has made numerous high-profile media appearances for leading broadcasters such as BBC Sport, Sky Sports, and TalkSPORT. He is also the founder of the Tottenham Hotspur fan page Daily Hotspur, where his passion for Spurs and insightful content have helped the account amass over 175,000 followers across multiple social media channels.
Lee Connor
Boasting more than eight years experience in the digital publishing industry, Lee Connor is a professional sports journalist working across a range of GRV Media's sports websites. Lee has worked for GRV Media since 2020 having previously worked for Snack Media and WhatCulture. He loves all things football and golf and watches as much as possible. Notable moments in both sports include scoring from the halfway line at under 11s and draining a 50 ft putt at his local parkland course.
Mark Marston
After graduating from UCFB Manchester in 2022 with a degree in Football Business and Media, Mark Marston joined Get Football as part of their news teams for the World Cup before moving to the EU site as a sub-editor and shortly after a senior editor. Mark began freelancing for Snack Media's Football FanCast outlet in June 2023 and later joined GiveMeSport as an Evergreen Features Writer. In February 2024, Mark joined GRV Media as a Football Journalist and has contributed to TBR Football and a number of club sites. Mark has a specific expertise in the Premier League and EFL.
Mehdi Gokal
Mehdi Gokal has over 10 years of industry experience, specialising in Premier League coverage, transfer news, and match previews. A University of Hertfordshire graduate, he has spent the past three years publishing exclusives and insights for outlets including CaughtOffside and The Boy Hotspur, with a particular focus on the Premier League.
Shamanth Jayaram
Shamanth Jayaram is a professional football writer at GRV Media, specialising in all things football, with a particular focus on Arsenal. A lifelong Gunners fan with over 20 years of dedication to the club, Shamanth brings an expert perspective to his coverage of Arsenal. Since joining GRV Media in 2019, he has been delivering in-depth analysis for Arsenal Insider and TBR Football.
Srinivas Sadhanand
After an article of his was published in a national newspaper when he was just 15, Srinivas Sadhanand knew football journalism was his ultimate goal. Now working as a professional sports journalist for GRV Media, Srinivas graduated from Amity University with a Journalism & Mass Communication degree. Going on to cover the 2018 World Cup for the Economic Times to blending streetwear, urban culture and football for online publications. Much like the ideal Pep Guardiola player, he is as versatile as they come.
